Platform-based AI System for Human Motion Analysis to optimize Ergonomics of Hybrid Work Systems in Industry
In the Hybrid Work Systems project, an extended, standardized and formal layer model of industrial processes is being developed, which can be used to describe joining processes, assistance steps, ergonomic improvements and human/machine interactions of collaborative robotics.
In this project Profactor develops a video-based motion analysis for the recognition of production activities and the necessary interfaces to virtual planning systems. The results of the video analysis include metric location- and time-related information, as well as posture, range of motion and movement patterns of the recorded workers. The documentation is done using a non-intrusive system to leave the working environment as unchanged as possible.
Together with the modules developed by the project partners, individual assembly steps can be planned and optimized and workers can be protected from long-term damages.
